Glycine KMU 48KMU 48 Limited O’6: A combination of unusual materials The KMU 48 Limited O’6 is no less rich in contrasts, not only in regard to its colours – black and orange – but also its materials. Most of the dial is made of carbon fibre which gives it structure and shine, depending on how the light falls.
Positioned at six o’clock, the seconds are displayed on an area of orange-coloured luminous material. “The unusual combination of carbon and luminous material appealed to me. The success of its predecessor, the KMU 48 Big Second, induced me to create something special,” explains CEO Katherina Brechbühler. A special watch is the result, and it too has exceptional functionality. The KMU 48 Limited O’6 only comes in a limited series of 250 pieces. The watch is equipped with a finely finished Unitas 6498 movement and has a diameter of 48 millimetres –as its name suggests. It is waterproof up to 100 metres.
