At the heart of Jaeger-LeCoultre's success is the legendary Reverso, a design concept unchanged for 65 years. Now it is a modern classic, enjoying greater popularity greater than ever before.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Date

The Reverso story began on the polo lawns of British India in 1931, when British players demanded a watch whose dial could be turned face-down for protection while a game was in play.

The Reverso, which could be turned over, had space for a crest or initials to be engraved on the back. This elegant but practical solution soon became the height of fashion-and it has remained so ever since.
