Golden EllipseThe elliptical shape of the case is a synthesis of the circle and the rectangle. Yellow gold hands appear to float on the shimmering blue-colored 18K gold dial. When the Golden Ellipse by Patek Philippe celebrated its world debut in 1968, it was radically different from conventional watches. The sunburst chocolate dial is set within the rose gold case and accented by a high-gloss alligator strap in matching brown. Golden Ellipse Ref. 3738/100G in white gold with charcoal gray dial and brown strap. The sunburst dial is presented in charcoal with a white gold case and chic brown alligator strap. Golden Ellipse Ref. 3738/100J in yellow gold with 18K blue-colored gold dial and navy strap. The original retains all its freshness and originality. The yellow gold case, hands and indexes stand out against the 18K blue-colored gold dial – an exclusive Patek Philippe color introduced in 1968 – with a high-gloss navy alligator strap. All three models are powered by the ultra-thin, self-winding Patek Philippe caliber 240 movement with the Geneva Seal. The strap comes with a prong buckle in- rose, white or yellow gold matching the elliptical case. While the definition of male elegance may vary, the dandy is back.
