With them in mind, the Manufacture ZENITH has reinvented the mechanical watch.

In Paris, Tokyo, New York or Milan, stiletto heels click rhythmically along the sidewalks like the ticking of a mechanical selfwinding watch. Striding along in a stylish trench-coat with brand-label glasses and handbag: a quintessentially modern woman, a blend of strength, vulnerability... and perpetual elegance.

The ZENITH woman.

It is for her that the Manufacture ZENITH launched the CHRONOMASTER Star El Primero.

A grand premiere, although it already offered ladies models for more than a hundred years, before focusing in the more recent past on men's watches.

For her, the case curves are gently rounded. The dial is clad in a silky moiré effect thanks to successive baths according to a venerable technique dating back to the 18th century. The numerals, inspired by a character used by ZENITH in the 1920s, appear to whirl in a spirited dance. The pressed lizard skin strap comes in colours ranging from Bamboo Blossom to Wild Orchid, in tune with the seasons. The white or brown diamonds in progressive sizes are placed along the bezel in a manner reminiscent of the eye, according to what one might aptly call "visionary gem-setting". Echoing this radiance is a ballet of wild numerals and stars sprinkled over the oscillating weight.
